Explanation:

Ouro originally isn't a desert. It was once as fertile as the surrounding territories before the war and the departure of the Aeon God Ignitus.

Due to the land being blessed by Ignitus. When he left. that power began to wane and the once fertile lands of Ouro became a barren wasteland. Suddenly Earthquakes submerged the more fertile areas including the Tree of Lagdrassir underground hence the birth of underground lakes and quicksand pits in Ouro.

After Raj and Nameer's journey of collecting samples. the brothers were attacked by Sandworms and somehow got swallowed up by a large quicksand pit.

The sand pit landed them in an underground network of tunnels.The Emperor's intuition helped them discover the right path and they stumbled upon this chamber where a tree surrounded by clean water has glowing leaves and flowers that looked like it belonged to the Terrafim's surroundings than Ouro's sandy kingdom.

Nameer's theory after tasting the water and finding it untainted and fresh was that the waters running here was richer and fresh because of the crystal that is purifying it constantly. But that alone isnt enough to combat the poison. So the answer was that the underground lake network was not affected by the waters found above, believing that it runs in a different network of water source.

The mana in this place was strong as if Ignitus has always watched after this place.....It was as if the God never left.

It was a mystery and a miracle at the same time.....
